About Ingwe Safari's
The Northern Cape sunset forms a great part of the magical and exciting hunting environment that we offer.
Ingwe Safaris is situated near a town called Douglas. It is a small town in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. Douglas is also called the “Miracle in the Middle”, South Africa’s two largest rivers – the Orange and the Vaal – right in the middle of the country, and offers many attractions for its visitors.
Outfitter and PH: Lieb du Raan is the owner of Ingwe Safaris located on a 10,000 acre farm. We started the business in 1997 and now have an variety of species of game on the farm and Ingwe Safaris has over 400,000 acres of hunting concessions.

Fire Arms
You are allowed a maximum of two firearms. Handguns and automatic
weapons are not allowed. If you plan to hunt dangerous game, the caliber
limitations is not less than a .375 H&H Magnum. We also recommend that you bring 60 rounds per rifle. If you do not want to bring your own rifle, you can hire rifles from Ingwe Safaris.
Calibers available: 308, 30-06, 300 WinMag, .375 H&H.
Dipping & Packing
Ingwe Safaris provides a good quality inhouse dipping and
packing. You don’t have to deal with anyone else, but you are
most welcome to use your own taxidermy of choice. Our prices
and quality are realistic. Dipping and packing will take
between four to six months.

The following are included in the daily rate:
- Concession fees.
- Service of an experienced Professional Hunter (guide & his
staff, including trackers & skinners). - Skinning & field preparation of trophies.
- Meeting & greeting at arrival and departure by company
representative (transport from and to the airport & for the
duration of the Safari.) - Boarding & housing.
- Quality food, fresh fruits, vegetables and salads. Special
arrangements will be catered for where possible. - Fully-equipped first aid kit in all hunting vehiclesand camps.
- Domestic and imported beverages and spirits, excluding
champagne.
The following are not included in the daily rate
- International flights, visas and airport tax.
- Trophy dipping, packing and air freight of trophy fees for
animals killed or wounded. - Cost of charter aircraft during safari.
- Firearm license.
- Hotel expenses before and after the safari.
- Gratuities to staff and professional hunter.
- Hunting permits.
TERMS OF BUSINESS
- All prices are quoted in US dollars.
- A deposti of 50% of the daily rate is required to confirm your
booking. - Deposits are not refundable. In the event of a cancellation,
the client will forfeit the deposit to cover the loss of a safari
booking. However, the safari can be rescheduled. - The balance of the daily rate is payable on arrival.
- Animals shot, wounded and lost, are paid at the end of the
hunt. - All payments are payable in cash, certified bank drafts or
credit cards. - The company reserves the right to change prices if such
changes are necessitated by causes beyond its control.
